A set of compliment cards turned into a mental health fair. This page shows my ideas and my work, including my cards, signage, and more to come.
Existing Brand
The clowning for you cards are a series of interactive compliment cards designed for general gift-giving. Created as a specialized class project, the set features a “punny-bubbly-kooky” aesthetic that pairs playful circus illustrations with uplifting affirmations. The design intentionally incorporates texture to enhance the physical experience of the cards.
Non-profit
Mental Health America (MHA) provides advocacy, education, and outreach services through a national network of over 140 affiliates across the country. They offer online screening tools, peer support programs, and policy resources to help individuals identify mental health conditions early and access necessary care.
MHA is the nation’s leading community-based nonprofit dedicated to addressing the needs of those living with mental illness and promoting the overall mental health of all. Founded in 1909, it is the oldest organization of its kind, famously operating under the philosophy of “Before Stage 4” to treat mental health concerns long before they reach a point of crisis.
Festival Overview
This vision transforms the clowning for you project into an immersive community fair where the “punny-bubbly-kooky” art style serves as a welcoming “hook”. By using lighthearted fair games and simple attractions, the event aims to draw in a broad, unsuspecting audience, ensuring that while they come for the fun, they leave with a deeper “unique perspective” on mental wellness.
